CEA Implementation in Astrogrid

The Astrogrid projects that implement parts of this architecture are

• CEA FrameWork This implements the core CEA functionality. There is an overview diagram of the implementation architecture.
• Workflow objects which contains the schema and wsdl definitions
• Job Management System This does not strictly implement part of the CEA, but does act as the component that invokes the CEA within AstroGrid

An instance of a server that implements the main CEA interface CommonExecutionConnector of is know as an Execution Controller

• The Command Line Component manager. This is configures a controller that can act as an adapter to run legacy command-line applications. Using the CommandLineApplication model of an application
• The HTTP GET/POST Component Manager This configures a controller that can act as an adapter to run legacy HTTP GET/POST style applications, using the HttpApplication model
• The Java Class Component manager This controller is built into the main CEA Framework, and allows a java class to be presented as an application.
• Datacenter CEC This controller is outside this project, but uses the core server components.
