Background Processes

Selecting this menu option gives a list of processes that VODesktop is currently running. In the drop down box you can check processes attached with all VODesktop functions, or specific ones only - such as VOExplorer, All-VO Scope, etc.

From this panel you are able to stop processes, either all, with the 'Halt All' option, or at the individual level. This can be useful, for instance, when a call to a remote service has stopped resonding.

Selecting the 'progress' icon against any process gives more information for that task.
