Using the STILTS Coneskymatch search in Task Runner

Using the STILTS Coneskymatch (formerly multicone) command is very similar to using the STILTS crossmatcher in Task Runner, see the help for tmatch2 in Task Runner. It is suitable for sending a list of not more than a few hundred positions, from a personal table in VOSpace in a recognised format, to any catalogue which supports a Cone Search service. You must enter its serviceurl which has a form like this: http://heasarc.gsfc.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/vo/cone/coneGet.pl?table=iraspsc. One way to find this is to use VOExplorer to find a catalogue which supports cone search (such as under Examples Cone search Examples). The serviceURL is the site linked to by the Access URL base (you may find it quicker to examine the xml pane which contains the URL explicitly). We are looking for a way to make this more convenient.

See the STILTS documentation for more information.
