How do i run VODesktop if I have to use a web proxy
You have to tell VODesktp some information about the web proxy and port that it runs on. In the VODesktop set the relevant 'preferences' - see how at the help on Network settings
What to do if i start getting 'out of memory' errors?
See the pages on memory management. Also, if problems persist with VODesktop / VOExplorer/ Filemanager, it is probably good to kill the VODesktop application, and start it up again.
Where can i get a list of bugs that have already been reported and solved?
a) the user ticket system is where you can enter fault reports and check what's happening to them
b) the AstroGrid team use Bugzilla to track bugs. shows closed and resolved bugs since 2008-01-01
